College recruiting is big business. On one side, you have the high school student athletes; on the other side you have college recruiters who are looking to help high school student athletes get into college. There are high school athletes out there who don’t need assistance to get into college and then there are millions of other high school athletes who fly under the radar and do need help.
The business side of college recruiting is critical to businesses that look to make money off the high school athletes and their parents and then there are the student athletes who are, at times, in desperate need of college recruiting help. From my point of view, high school athletes and parents should do everything necessary to ensure college placement.
